Term 3 Week 2

Week 2 was a very busy week at school! On Wednesday we had a very exciting time at Newmarket seeing what different roles and responsibilities people have in the community.We caught a bus to Parnell Library and explored Newmarket noting places like The Blind Institute, Train Station, Police Station and of course lots of exciting shops along the way. The greatest excitement was reserved for our 'treat' lunch of McDonald's which was thoroughly deserved! Here are some pics and stories of our adventure.

Our Newmarket Trip 

On Wednesday Year 1 went to Newmarket. 

The first thing we did was the library and my mum read Tin Tin. 

I loved the pet shop because I loved the cute puppies and kittens. The fish were beautiful.

When we went to the hairdressers I saw some cream. 

The last thing was McDonald's. I got chicken nuggets and chips. 

I got an Ice Age 4 toy. The toy said you had to roll him six times and he would go far.

It was an awesome trip.

I went to Newmarket. I went on Wednesday with my class. 

I went to the pet shop. Now it is time to go to the train station. I saw the dairy. 

I went to McDonald's. I was happy because I got a toy!

The best thing was McDonald's.

On Wednesday I got my nails painted in the nail shop for pretend. 

We saw the police station and the cute kittens, and the hairdressers. 

But I liked McDonald's best!

Did you know on Wednesday I went to the Newmarket Community?

 I saw the police car. I liked the jewellery shop, train station and the pet shop. 

Best of all I liked McDonald's.

1FR went to the Newmarket community. 

We saw the park, the train station, the hairdressers, the pet shop and the library.

I was afraid that I would get lost. At the end we went to McDonald's.

When we were going to leave Newmarket it was raining. It was incredible.

I danced to the music at the disco. 

I got my nails done and I ate cakes.

It was awesome because the lights changed colours and it was dark!
