It has been a long term and the girls have done really well and worked hard until the end! We managed to fit in quite a bit of art this week. There were 4 stations within the classroom. Jenni helped the girls make a maths flap book. There was a spelling table with independent tasks and the girls finished their teddy bear collages at another table - which look fantastic! I took a table group of girls to complete their Eric Carle (author/illustrator of books such as A Hungry Caterpillar) butterfly calendar art. You will hear more about this next term. Megan and Eliane manned the glue guns one of the days to help the girls to make peg dolls. We have discussed how in the olden days some families had to make their own toys. Maybe the girls may like to make a peg doll house out of a shoe box and furniture out of paper etc ...

Summer uniform
Summer uniform will be compulsory for all students from the start of term four. There will not be a period of transition so dust off the hats and sandals for the start of the term. We remind girls and parents that cardigans and jumpers are not part of the street uniform – all girls must be in their blazers or dress. |
